My name is Michael Brian Phillip Nix also known as 'Redbeard'.
I book Wednesday nights and DJ at Ric's. I was born in the Wimmera Base Hospital, Horsham, Victoria, by C-Section, at around 5am(the doctor still had his PJ's on) on November 2nd, 1981.
My first 5 years as a child were spent doing child like things in and around Horsham. I attended half a year of preschool in Horsham before relocating to the fantastic town of Nambour, QLD. I spent my entire schooling life on the same strip, starting in Nambour Preschool then continuing on through Nambour State Primary and High schools.
Between grade 11 and now is a big blur and no real specific moments stick out to me that are worth mention, or that I can mention in such a public arena. 'The Beard' developed somewhere along the way, around my 17/18th year i think.
I don't much like walks on the beach but I do enjoy walks in the rain. I love music. I am in/have been in such bands as Grateful Beasts, Deux Garcons, Mr Rascal, The O'Toole Project, The Quest For Glory, Tracing and many more.
Don't ask me to play MGMT or Ting Tings.
